The Wye Valley Hotel is a small, friendly, family-run country inn sited in Tintern – a charming riverside village with Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) status.
You are welcome to dine in either the cosy bar with open fires, a large airy dining room with reading snugs, or on the south-facing patio (when the sun is shining).
As well as a fine range of beers, wines and spirits, we offer meals that are freshly prepared and full of flavour, often featuring local produce and ingredients. The Independent (Travel) reviewed our kitchen as serving ‘one of the best fish and chips I have ever had’.
Please book in advance so you are not disappointed. Whilst you do that let us know if you have any special dietary needs or perhaps an a la carte requests to make your occasion a special experience. - we're happy to chat things through or send on additional sample menus.
We are CAMRA accredited and proud to have received consecutive TripAdvisor Awards for Excellence, as well as 5-star hygiene ratings.
Wheelchair users will be pleased to know that the bar, restaurant and toilets are on one level, but do book assistance if you need extra help from your car.
Children are welcome. Free parking for guests. Dogs, with the exception of registered assistance dogs, are restricted to our cosy bar (where you are also welcome to dine with the same menu).
