• Groups of 15 or more receive a 10% discount ‘party rate’ as long as one person pays all at once.
• Coach drivers who bring groups have free entry with their party
• Easy access for coaches and double-deckers with a large free car park for visitors
• On most days there would be no need to book your coach party in, just turn up! However, do give us a quick call, just to make sure we have room for you 01291-690228.
• We have toilets of course and sell cold drinks, Welsh cakes, Ice cream and crisps etc in our shop
• Our visitor centre has a wide range of Welsh gifts to suit most budgets!
• There is a café a two minute walk from the castle car park, it doesn’t belong to us, but we are happy to recommend it. At the moment it is dog friendly too.

• NEW Tudor Costumed guided tours and tours from custodians are available, they must be pre-booked so we can ensure the guide is onsite to welcome the party, at no extra cost.
• After hours tours can be booked too, but this must be in advance and be for groups of 15 or more.
• Haunted Histories ghost tours available.
• We have a lively events program each year from historic re-enactments to dinosaur weekends for families!

Road Directions

A40 south-west from Monmouth & at the junction with the A449, take the A40 towards Abergavenny. Raglan Castle is signed at the next roundabout (go right around the roundabout and then first left).
Bus: 7 miles (11km) Monmouth, route No 60, Newport-Monmouth. 2-hourly daily.
Bike: Regional Route No.30 (0.6 mile/1km).


Accessible by Public Transport: Abergavenny station is 9 miles away.
